Guided by spontaneity and improvisation, GINI SNC (she/her) weaves immersive sonic landscapes merging analog synths, voice, and digital processing. Goose is the dark ambient project of Brett Lunceford. Although some of my earlier works as Stolen Light and Xenophon delved into more sedate material, I quickly realized that the only band that can get away with having everything under the same moniker is Controlled Bleeding. In the interest of keeping the various styles separate, I created Goose.

Jason Stevens and Dave Madden. This output was manipulated and reassembled in December 2020 with the vague themes of Solstice, hibernation, the kitchen sink perspective of Throbbing Gristle, the morphing juggernaut of Bitches Brew, screams from Pharmakon, the dark atmosphere of Lustmord, and the dynamics of Drew McDowell. With this Grave of the Opal Golem was born.

Grisha Shakhnes was born in Moscow in 1980. His family moved to Israel in 1992, where he has been residing ever since. He has been making music with tapes and field recordings since 2008, greatly reducing the amount of tape recorders and adding amplified objects along the way. Musically, his main interest lies in inherent musicality and emotional load of everyday sounds. For the last couple of years he has been mainly concerned with creating music that is modest and ephemeral, rather than aspiring for greatness and monumental. His music has been released by labels such as Glistening Examples, Unfathomless, more mars, Falt, presses précaires, Organized Music From Thessaloniki, Aloe, Coherent States and more.

There are things that work and things that don’t work in translations. In thecase of “Los días contados”, something is lost in the passage between laguages. In Spanish, it’s a way of saying that someone has only a few days left (The DaysNumbered, we can say), but it’s also used when referring to the telling of a certainperiod of time.
The tittle of this work plays with that ambiguity, with memories of certain events thatleft marks on our skin, and aslo with this feeling that something is about to end. Not a word more: let the sounds take over.
